Garden Notes - Garden Roses

A rose garden can easily be one of the most satisfying experiences a gardener can have.  When a vibrant collection of fragrant bushes begins to emerge on your property, your garden will become the envy of anyone who can see it.  Many people are impressed with well cultivated rose gardens because they understand that a large amount of time, effort, and knowledge must be exercised in order to grow a beautiful rose garden.

There are many different varieties of roses to choose from when planning a garden.  The selections can often be confusing.  Roses are broken down into eight main categories that describe growth behavior and final product.  Within the eight categories resides a large array of varieties; it is important to pick plants that are suitable to your specific wants and needs.

Following are pictures and information about many rose plants. They should provide a general outline for you of the many different types available.
